Diablos Rojos del México, founded in 1940 in Mexico City, is one of the most iconic and successful baseball teams in Latin America. Originally named Rojos del México, the team quickly earned the nickname "Diablos" ("Devils") due to their fiery playing style, intense competitiveness, and bold red uniforms. From the beginning, they showcased an aggressive and passionate approach to the game that resonated with fans across the capital. Competing in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB), they rapidly rose to prominence as both a fan favorite and a perennial contender, laying the foundation for decades of dominance.

Over the decades, the Diablos have claimed 16 league championships, solidifying their position as the most decorated team in LMB history. Their success spans generations, from the early post-war era to the modern day, earning them a loyal, multigenerational fan base. In 2019, the team entered a bold new chapter with the opening of Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú, a cutting-edge ballpark located in the heart of Mexico City. Designed to be both a world-class sports venue and a cultural landmark, the stadium reflects the team’s ambition and legacy. It features modern amenities, sustainable architecture, and stunning views of the surrounding city. Beyond baseball, the stadium also hosts concerts, festivals, and community events, further strengthening the team’s connection to the capital.

Throughout their history, the Diablos have featured a powerful blend of homegrown talent and international stars from baseball-rich nations like the United States, Cuba, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic. Many of these players have left a lasting impact on the league and inspired the next generation of Mexican athletes. From legendary sluggers to dominant pitchers, the team has served as a launching pad for numerous baseball careers, some of which extended into Major League Baseball. The organization is also known for its strong development system, nurturing young players through its academy programs and minor league affiliates. With their fast-paced, high-energy style of play and a reputation for never backing down, the Diablos have consistently drawn large crowds and earned the unofficial title of “Mexico’s Team” among fans and sportswriters alike.
